phew~

after few exams..i think my body is getting tired and all stressed up..but this isnt the finals yet...so im not sure whats my plan of attack is for my finals...anyways..im all geared up to create a storyline for my final clip for the mobifilm...ouh..discovery edited my blog and they cut some lines..heh..so much for freedom of speach huh..and capturing the moment of 'work in progress'..

im in the middle of editing here for tasha g's anni...she wanted me to put together few clips and create sumthing out of it...ive done it in windows movie maker but the stupid thing wont let me convert it into a movie file.panasnya hati ku!!.and now i have to do it all over again...this time on a mac...hey bill gates..why dont u offer few mac guys better wages and ask them to fix the windows movie makers of your huh?....im off editing..

short weekend

ok well..i was abit busy with uni and all so i didnt had much time to do up the blog
so anyways i had a ok weekend spending time with my friends..and there was alot of thinking goin on all the time for my final mobifilm clip...always asking what the hell am i goin to come up with..and its abit hard to come up with somthing brilliant when u expect something brilliant from yourself...i mean..Issac Newton didnt just came up with a theory which he feels it has a nice ring to it...but its because of the apple falling on his head while he wanted to take a nap...so ajin..just chill..and wait that apple to fall onto your head..:p

i spent the whole saturday with faris...trying to sit down and put our thinking caps on..but instead it leads to a movie at One Utama..lol..me-faris-and azam spent God knows how long to search for a parking..haih and after the movie we 'buka puasa' with Rotiboy coz we wanted to go to Ikea to have some meatballs...the same sahu meatballs that opu didnt wanna share..lol..but yah..we werent the only ones who wants a piece of the meatballs..instead we had Ikea hotdogs..

after dinner me and faris went to Help Institute to check out a screening of shortfilms...but yeah..it was an indian shortfilm screening..it was a different event..not the one that we intended to go actually..but hey..im open to things and maybe i could learn a thing or two...and yeah...faris was fast asleep...and started snoring too..haih...lol..after that we met up with Adam and i head to Hartamas to meet up with some friends..

On sunday nite, Hadzman called me up saying that his band wanted me to join them jamming..but its not an easy task to transport your turntables izzit?..haha..but we had a good time..and we played cover songs..and they loved when we played my generation and faith by limp bizkit with the scratching goin on...and yeah..they want me to join the band..so i guess i'll be playing alongside..and the upcoming gig is at Laundry Bar end of november i think... hadzman n me...yea,im tryin to look as hip hop as possible

friday 29th sept 06

we spent the whole day at discovery asia's HQ...where there was a workshop held. The speakers was Royston Tan, Ian Oliver and Saumya Sen. We also had to do a short clip..but i was sleepy, hungry coz i was fasting, and blank in the head, and wh had to create an ad using the phone..mine was simple i guess...dont really know what to do..mostly i was discussing with yasu on what to do..so yah..as usual..not enough time! and discovery said they're gonna post it on the net..haih...lol..after a long day..we went to the Grand-Hyatt and i stuffed myself with alot of food!..mostly arab dishes..but they were really tasty..i mean..that was heaven..im not the kind of person who will say its good when its not...but that nite..the food was good! even yasu wanted to go there the next day! my own sepet...mooncake and pulut with serunding

..after dinner, we head bck to the hotel and hit the showers, but during our trip bck, saumya who shared a cab with yasu and me, he was hyped up for the night and wanting to have a taste of singapore's night scene. After showers, we called him..and found out that he's goin to bed...haha..we were laughing like hell..so much for the hype..

yasu, kelvin and me hit the roads and started walking towards Clarke Quay, as Guna said that Ministry of Sound had just open a new joint there..but ive gotta say that singaporians dress to impress...it was like a big party was goin on and they're ready to go. We took pictures and trying experimenting our new phone..but we didnt had the mood to go clubbing really....so we walked...and walked....and after doing alot of walking, we decided to head back to swissotel and retire for the night..


saturday 30th sept 2006

i woke up late and got to know that its gonna be a bloody blurry day bcoz of the bad haze, and it started to rain cats and dogs and God knows what...i was a bit dissapointed coz i knew we couldnt go walk around singapore..
the haze was bad

after checking out...yasu, kelvin, and me started to walk along the City Link...its basically an underground shopping complex which will lead you up to Suntec City...its kinda cool to have sumthing like this...instead of building rising, singapore took the different approach...which goes deeper underground..i mean yeah..they dont have alot of land to build on..so make use of what u've got.

i was still hunting for my shoes..and ive already got my records...and i fell in love with one of the shoe..but the adidas store didnt have my size, so they made some phone calls and got to know that theres one in orchard street, so i booked it coz we wanted to go there anyways to check out Salvador Dali...he's a surreal artist and his works are ...are...one of a kind..he definitly has a thing for ladies..coz all of them...yeah..were ladies..but to figure out what is he trying to say is tough...im sure he has a story behind all of his works..the famous ones are The Melting Clock and the Space Elephants. Steven Spielberg also got inspired to create the imperial's giant walking thingy in episode 5.


and we visited the Opera Gallery to have a look at salvador dali's work....and after that we went to have dinner,and i break my fast with Burger King..and they cant get Burger King in Penang..after that,while yasu met his father's friend or sumthing..i went to get my shoes..i didnt know that singapore shops close at 9.30pm..coz KL usually 10.30pm on weekends..

and we walked and took pictures and basically walked until our legs just wanna fall off..we were supposed to meet up with Guna, a fellow contestant, as he wanted to show the singapore night life...but he was still sick...so we were too tired to go clubbing..and decided to head bck home..

so yah.. here i am..writing my 1st post..never would have expected to,but life's unpredictable..people change..well i just hope that i change for the better..that is IF i change...i thought of giving it a go and might aswell start on the blog thingy coz i have to write a blog for the Discovery Mobile Filmmakers 2006.

so its monday, came back from singapore yesterday evening and 'buka puasa' in the car with keropok lekor my dad brought from terengganu, i arrived 1hr later than him.


so i had a blast in singapore...thanks to nokia and discovery. i arrived on thursday morning around 11.30. i was sitting near a couple of japs..and all i was saying that "mars would have flipped if she's in my shoe"..and i texted her,and she gave me this one jap pick up line or sumthing..lol..so yah..as i arrived in singapore had this taxi guy waiting ..holding a board with a familiar name on it...i was thinking more of a grand arrival, camera man here there, but...dream on ajin..

anyways the guy asked me to wait as he drives the car over and my jaws dropped as he drove the new E-class. "i could get use to this" said to myself...but sadly it was only for the ride to the hotel..it'll be cool if i had a driver all to myself..but who am i anyways..lol...


as i arrive swissotel, i got to know that my room isnt ready until 1, so i decided to walk around raffles city to do some window shopping ..and creating a 'what-to-get list' .. and the cd shops there are just fantastica!..i just spent hours and hours in there.. and when i came bck around 1.30pm, they still havent manage to get my room in shape..so..they gave me a complimentary drink as they saw how my face went all RED...and i decided to go bck to MPH and check it out..

i came bck at 2 sumthing and got to my room..after that i went to peninsular plaza to search for my vinlys and shoes.i got lost in the plaza coz it was weirdly connected somehow..and when i got to the shop i had like half an hour to test the records coz i wanna attend the Discovery Atlas sneak preview or sumthin...more like a primere..and thats where most of the finalist were gathered fot the 1st time.

the primere was cool and there was free flow of champagne,red andwhite wine...but i just had fresh orange as i dont drink...and after the show they had 4 stalls comprising food from 4 diff countries which is Aussie, Brazil, China, and Italy....so..i went and bantai all the pasta.and after dinner we got bck to our hotel rooms by taxi..and it was kinda difficult to get one at nite.

when we got bck ..i chilled at the lobby bar to get my complimentary drink.and i saw yasu(the other malaysian contestant just arrived..and that was 11.30pm!...he said "biasa la...missed my flight again"..lol
