and yesss...im back from bangkok..and the sad part of the story is i came home empty handed la...haihh...ive been getting all this moral support from family and friends..and they gave me encouraging advises...well..actually im ok with it..but im sure there is a lil bit of disappointment in everyone after all the blood sweat and tears they've been thru rite?..hey, everyone can dream..
the journey starts early when i had to catch my 9.10am flight..and yasu and me almost missed my flight bcoz stoping for 1901's hotdogs..well im hungry!...haha
well the new bangkok airport looks nice but it has this industrial feel to it..and personally i think its not fully complete..and they took us to the hotel in a merc, just like they did in singapore...and i could really get use to that!
afta checkin-in we were taken to Siam Paragon where we had a group discussion with the nokia device ppl and they wanted to know about our feedbacks on the phone..and we listed down heaps of complaints..and i think we manage to piss the guy off ..lol...
the awards took place..and the grand prize goes to..hardiyan..a guy from indonesia..well congrats for him and i guess the best man won..well honestly he deserves it..coz when i saw his clip, i felt the emotions he wanted to convey...and basically all of the contestants clips was GOOD..and it comes down to what is appealing to discovery..
after that there was the after party...and hats off to Guna from singapore..coz i think he was the only one who made full use of the open bar!...he went to the bar and asked like for 10 bottles..but only manage to get 5..hehe..we had drinks and the winners are busy with interviews..
after that..there was an after after party.. we head back to the hotel room and freshen up..
we gathered at the hotel lobby and Bali Bob was the leader of the group and he was like.."lets nana tonight"..eventho u dont really know whats nana, im sure u have the rough idea...
well basically NANA is one of the Red Light District in Bangkok...and with ppl like Bob and Guna..it was crazy..and this guy from Nokia Finland, Paras was bloody funny..coz he was damn sangap.....phew..enuff said.
most of the contestant head back the next morning..but me and yasu extended our stay till the weekends just to get the feel of Bangkok...and basically it was great vacation for me..but it would be nicer if you're with friends...
and i did almost all the things a tourist woud do:
1. Thai massage with Guna
2. Shop..more like window shopping..
3. All the markets that we could cover..i mean chaktuchak is like petaling street x5
4. Yasu persuaded me to eat some bugs..,taste like chicken...NOTT
5. Red light district...not gonna elaborate
6. Tomyam Kung
hurm..did i miss out anything?..well yeah..thats abt it i guess..
